Five Minute Conversations
Aiming to reduce the role of the artist as maker, Five Minute Conversations proposed the artist as a collaborator, co-worker, and system-orienteer. Through the iteration of data (dialogue → text → digital speach → performance), the project sought to explore how informal conversations can lead to knowledge production – whether in a form of text, sound, or performance.
The project was presented in a number of events and venues such as Transacting; A Market of Values, and the exhibition Kinesis and Stasis at the Barbican in London. Five Minute Conversations was reviewed on the BBC broadcasting website in 2015. Thanks to David Cross, Marsha Bradfield and Neil Cummings for their involvement and support.
